One little thing about Jasper -- and it's very common among babies -- is that he has the hiccups at least a half-dozen times a day. They only last about five minutes and they don't seem to cause him any particular agony. Instead, they serve as an endless source of cuteness to his parents. Here's one of the first hiccuping videos we took in the hospital.
oh! a new hiccuping video! i love it. well, i don't love that he gets the hiccups so often, but it is awfully cute. sorry, jasper!
ReplyDeleteI love listening to all those adorable tiny baby sounds! And I notice in these videos that the hospitals are swaddling the babies and putting them on their sides, just as we used to do with you two when you were little--much safer than putting them down on their tummies, as so many people once did.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we were told that having a baby on his stomach is a possible cause of SIDS ... they don't know what causes SIDS exactly, but having the baby on his stomach is no longer considered smart.
