Jasper's cute enough to eat, but it's against California law. We could eat a yummy brunch at one of our favorite neighborhood cafes, Wood. Jasper was very sweet by letting us enjoy our whole meal without fussing. He only "sprung a leak" (Daddy's term for when he shows signs of starting to cry) right before we got back home. Thanks J!
Thanks for continuing to share Jasper's adventures with us! I'm just curious--is it cool out there? (It's sweltering here in New England.) I would think he would be hot in that cute little hat he's wearing in a lot of these videos. Is this something new they do with tiny babies these days, keeping their heads covered much of the time? It's been SO LONG since I've cared for a tiny baby. . . .
ReplyDeleteIt actually is relatively cool out here. I mean, cool for before Labor Day. But yes, we were told that a lot of heat escapes through babies' heads, and to keep it covered with a hat. We don't know how long we're supposed to keep that up, but we'll probably do it for awhile, as it will only get cooler as the fall moves on. We were actually eating in the shade, and we saw a lower lip tremble by him that we thought was a sign that he was too cold. So yeah, we'll probably keep him pretty swaddled for awhile. :-)
