Well, not really. We should probably save this post until he starts sleeping in a twin bed shaped like a race car in 2-3 years.
But Jasper is about to graduate to his crib, set to leave the basinet behind in a couple weeks. We set it up over the weekend and have been setting him down in it for a few minutes at a time. He seems very pleasantly distracted by the wind-up mobile hanging over the side.
We couldn't decide which "Jasper in the crib with the mobile" video to post, so we decided to post both! Enjoy.

ReplyDeleteHow adorable! Have you reached the wonderful moment where Jasper begins sleeping through the night? It's amazing how my memory 'protects' me from remembering this, but I think with both of you kids it was a while longer before we could claim that. . .

On viewing these posts a second time, I find myself wondering if the reason for Jasper's agitation at times is that he wants to put one of these in his mouth the way he did with the little blue. . .dog, was it? So near, yet so far away!
ReplyDeleteHe can't actually put the blue dog in his mouth. We have to put it there for him. He seems to like it. Don't worry, we're using the pacifier whenever we can! (I read the subtext of your comment.) :-)
